In my last post I mentioned I couldn’t give out some details, because I might productize the idea, and well… I did. JoBound was born out of me wanting to find the latest job again. I used to use an app that helped me in that way, but their method to find new postings left me desiring more. They started to become out dated, so it wasn't even worth applying -- I won't get seen as applicant 5,392.
Once I figured out a better way I found more and more ways to get fresh postings. I have a ton of data now, looking at a million posts in a week or so.
And now, during my last few interviews, I was told I'm one of the first to be interviewed.
It's something I hadn't heard for awhile and it feels good to know I'm finally getting in front of recruiters now.
So I'll continue to use it, of course, but I've allowed others to as well. It's totally free to see 7 posts a day. I wanted some sort of trial, and giving people a peek into what they have was perfect, I thought. It shows people I have real jobs that they can't find elsewhere, while still being useful. You still get to see some listings you wouldn't otherwise.
I'm so happy with how it turned out. Everything is very polished and it all looks and works amazing. It look a lot of grinding to get it to where it is, so I'm very excited to share it with the world. It seems like every time I have an idea it spawns 3 others; one day the to-do list will be empty, right?
In any case, If you'd like to give it a try yourself, I think you'll be impressed too. The JoBound app can be found at app.JoBound.io and if you want to read more about it you can head over to JoBound.io.
I hope you enjoy!
